Facebook led all brands in the 2018 global millennial word of mouth rankings with placement on the top ten list in nineteen markets. McDonald's came in second by placing among the top brands in twelve markets, followed by Netflix in eleven.
Samsung made the top ten list in nine markets, with Apple close on its tail in seven. Meanwhile, iPhone ranked among the top brands in ten markets.
In the social media and online brands sector, Instagram placed high in eleven markets, with WhatsApp close behind in ten, followed by YouTube in nine.
The food and beverage industry made an impact around the globe, with KFC ranking in seven markets, Coca-Cola in four, and Burger King in two.
Within the retail sector, Nike reached the top ten in four markets, while Adidas made it in three.
