2014 - Mid-Year Rankings: US Retail - Specialty

Walgreen’s has usurped Lowe’s leadership position on the specialty retail list, and maintains number seven position in the overall US Buzz Rankings. The Illinois pharmacy has been flirting with a re-domiciling in Switzerland to minimize corporate tax liabilities. No decision has been taken but if they make the move it will be interesting to see how it impacts perception.

Lowe’s slightly declining Buzz score sees the DIY specialist drop to number two, next to arch-rival Home Depot. Lowe’s recently received industry awards for its series of Vine videos showcasing snappy home improvement tips.
