2014 - Mid Year Global Ranking

2014 - Mid-Year Rankings: US Airlines

Southwest is a perennial on our airlines ranking list. Although in a leadership position, numbers are down slightly from last year. American Airlines heads up this year’s improver list, with a three-point improvement, which was enough to carry it to the number two spot in the category rankings. Delta, Jet Blue, and United round out the rest of the list.

Some aggressive scheduling changes had a negative impact on Southwest arrival times this year, seeing them fall to the bottom of the US on-time arrival charts. However, always attentive to customer requirements, Southwest are busy building back some cushion to try and rectify the situation. Southwest this year announced they would be expanding their operations to international destinations

American Airlines merged with US Airways in December 2013 to create the world’s largest airline.

All Buzz scores listed have been rounded to a single decimal place, however, we have used additional precision to assign ranks.
