2013 - Mid Year Rankings: US Auto

Ford has motored on with a Buzz score of 31 in mid-2013, the highest in the category, and continues to command the sector after a Buzz lead in 2011 and 2012. The carmaker posted its highest profit-earning quarter in a decade this Q1 2013. Honda (2nd) and Toyota (3rd) have both gained coverage for developing more energy-efficient models this year.

Chevrolet gained a boost of 4.5 points since the same period in 2012, and its home company General Motors also gained in Buzz by 4.3 points. The GM brand achieved a landmark earlier this month with its re-entry into the S&P 500 after a long recovery from bankruptcy in 2009.
