Welcome to the YouGov BrandIndex Buzz Rankings for the first half of 2012. The BrandIndex Buzz Rankings compare Buzz scores for more than 1100 brands in 41 categories, to reveal the US brands with the most positive Buzz in 2012 so far.
All of these brands were rated using YouGov BrandIndex’s Buzz score, which asks respondents, "If you've heard anything about the brand in the last two weeks, through advertising, news or word of mouth, was it positive or negative?".
Subway is the top-ranked brand for mid-year 2012, topping the overall Buzz list once more. The sandwich giant is joined for the first time by Olive Garden from the dining sector. YouTube also makes it onto the list as a new entry.
