Amazon and Old Navy are the two top national retailers with the best value perception by US consumers since the week after Black Friday, with Old Navy making the biggest gains in the sector over the past 30 days.

Four upscale retailers – Saks, Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, and Lord & Taylor – also made great strides over the past 30 days in value perception with consumers.

Target is a very close number three in our consumer value perception snapshot of this week, followed by Wal-Mart, Best Buy, Kohl’s, eBay, J.C. Penney, Toys “R” Us and Sears. Sears is new to the top 10 list this week, replacing Marshall’s.

Following behind Old Navy in making the biggest value perception gains over the past 30 days are K-Mart, Best Buy, Gap, Wal-Mart, and Bloomingdale’s.

The top national holiday retailers were measured with YouGov BrandIndex’s Value score, which asks respondents: "Does it give good value for what you pay?" Results were filtered for respondents age 18 and over.
